Shift Happens is a citywide San Francisco festival. This page explains exactly what happens to the email address you give us when you join the list. We keep it deliberately small.

What we collect

When you submit the “Get on the list” form, we store only:

• the email address you enter,
• the date and time you submitted it,
• the page path you submitted from (e.g. /),
• the role you optionally pick (founder, artist, neighbor…).

We do not store your IP address, device, browser, or any tracking identifier with your sign-up.

How we use it

Solely to contact you about Shift Happens — festival announcements, dates, and access. We will never sell, rent, or share your email with third parties.

Where it's stored

Sign-ups are kept in a private, access-controlled store on our hosting provider (Vercel). If we send you a confirmation or update, delivery is handled by an email provider on our behalf.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, aggregate, cookieless visit analytics. No advertising trackers, no cross-site cookies, no profiling.

Your choices

You can ask us to remove your email or send you a copy of what we hold at any time — just email jordan@shiny.new. Every email we send will also include an unsubscribe option.
